Two City Treasures Tour to Bruges, Belgium and Amsterdam, Netherlands 2026

ArawjoTours is delighted to offer a new concept tour as a kind of companion to our highly successful “One City Wonders” trips. We are calling it the “Two City Treasures” tour. During the course of one week, instead of being based in just one great city, you will visit two, each for three nights. Like with the “One City Wonders trip,” we will provide all of the main components of the tour, such as air, hotels, breakfasts, airport transfers, a city tour, etc. while leaving you at liberty to immerse yourself in the culture of both cities. Bruges and Amsterdam are perfect for this kind of adventure, being only about a four-hour drive apart. Bruges is a small, cozy city, while Amsterdam is more of a diverse cosmopolis. Below is a brief description of each of the treasures you will discover.

What is it about Bruges, Belgium that draws millions of visitors each year? I think it has a lot to do with the best French fries in the world (the Belgians invented "French" fries), the most scrumptious waffles imaginable, chocolate to die for, over three hundred types of beer, gourmet cuisine often made with wild game, wonderful little shops on narrow cobblestone streets, Venice-like canals, medieval Gothic towers and lovely squares encircled by centuries-old houses, and, of course, friendly Belgians who undoubtedly realize they are living in an open-air museum. (Bruges is, in fact, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.) The one feature of Bruges that everyone seems to find attractive is its quaintness and manageability--its coziness. Other cities can leave you overwhelmed, but Bruges is an accessible jewel. Other Belgian towns can also be easily accessed by train from Bruges, including Antwerp, Gent, Brussels, and many more. This is a perfect destination for an ArawjoTours “Two Cities Treasure tour.” Don’t miss out on this magnificent little town in the great country of Belgium. And the Christmas Market will be in full swing when you get there. (The first four nights of the tour will be spent here.)

Amsterdam is a city whose very name is synonymous with toleration. Whether it be legalized prostitution or the decriminalization of soft drugs such as marijuana, Amsterdam has a reputation for open-mindedness. A visit to this remarkable city will never leave you indifferent; rather, it is likely to cause you to re-think your own views and to ground them on a new foundation of education and experience. As you will come to appreciate, the Amsterdam of “coffee shops” and brothels is only one part of the city's story. Amsterdam is resplendent in high culture. The Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum are among two of the greatest artistic storehouses in all of Europe. You can visit the Anne Frank House, the Royal Palace, or the beautiful Vondelpark. A canal cruise is also a nice way to take in the 17th century townhouses, which line the canals and are considered to be architectural masterpieces. Or, of course, you can seek out one of the many great restaurants or cafes that dot the city and enjoy a delicious glass of Jenever gin with some tasty Dutch cuisine. Amsterdam really does have something for everyone; you are truly free to create the kind of experience that you believe will be most memorable. (The last four nights will be spent here.)
