Highlights of this American journey include a ride on the Durango Silverton narrow gauge railroad, a visit to the adobe dwellings of Native Americans in Taos Pueblo, and substantial sightseeing in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Day 1
Arrival Denver and panoramic city tour, welcome dinner and overnight at the Tru by Hilton Downtown.

Day 2
Today we head west to explore Rocky Mountain National Park which encompasses 265,761 acres of land in Colorado's northern Front Range. The park is split by the Continental Divide, which gives the eastern and western portions of the park a different character. Overnight in Winter Park at the Holiday Inn Express..

Day 3
This morning we travel across the beautiful Colorado countryside, on the western slopes of the Rockies. We will stop for lunch and free time in the elegant ski resort town of Vail, before continuing onward to Moab UT for overnight at the Mainstay Suites.

Day 4
Today we will visit two of the most beautiful Natl parks in UT. Arches National Park, where we will see stunning formations, among them Delicate Arch and The elephants. In the afternoon we will visit Canyonlands National Park, with its vast array of unparalleled vistas and geological rarities. Overnight Moab at the Mainstay Suites.

Day 5
Breakfast in the hotel. We start our journey south, We will visit Mesa Verde National Park, where we will find the best preserved ancient rock dwellings in the west. We finish our day in the charming town of Durango CO, where we will have a typical old west dinner. Overnight at the historic Strater Hotel.

Day 6
Today we will experience a fantastic train ride aboard the Durango Silverton narrow gauge railroad. The line from Durango to Silverton has run continuously since 1881. We will make our way with the bus to the town of Silverton and after some free time in the town for lunch, we will make our way back to Durango on the train. Overnight Durango at the Strater Hotel.
Day 7
This morning we cross over the Sangre de Cristo mountains to reach Abiquiu, a town that was home for many years to famous painter Georgia O’Keefe. Lunch included today during the visit to O´Keefe´s ghost ranch. Overnight in Taos at the Don Francisco Hotel (Hilton Tapestry Collection)
Day 8
Today we spend the morning visiting Taos, including the neighboring Taos Pueblo, where still to this day, Native Americans live in adobe traditional dwellings. This afternoon is free to visit the many galleries and shops in the Plaza. Overnight in Taos at the Don Francisco.
Day 9
We head south to the Santuario de Chimayo, a stunning sanctuary in the desert. We will also visit the Pueblo of San Ildefonso, where some of the best native pottery artists in the Southwest live and work (subject to closure for local festivities), Overnight downtown Santa Fe at the Inn of the Governors.
Day 10
Today we will enjoy sightseeing in Santa Fe, one of the nation’s most unique towns, including The Palace of the governors, the main Plaza and the famous Gallery area of Canyon Road. Afternoon at leisure and overnight in Santa Fe at the Inn of the Governors.
Day 11
After some free time in Santa Fe Today we will travel on the Turquoise Trail, stopping in the town of Cerrillos, where many movies, including Young Guns were filmed. We will stop for lunch and free time in Madrid and then ascend the Sandia Peak Tram. We will arrive Albuquerque in the late afternoon hours. Overnight Albuquerque at the Homewood Suites Uptown.
Day 12
Today we will go on sightseeing in Albuquerque, including the Old Town and the university district. We will also visit Petroglyph National Monument, just outside of Albuquerque, which has the largest collections and best preserved petroglyphs in North America.
Afternoon at leisure in Old Town Albuquerque. Overnight at the Homewood Suites Uptown.
Day 13
This morning we will have a few hours at leisure in Old Town Albuquerque before our transfer to the airport.
